Concert Description:
Batzorig Vaanchig is one of Mongolia’s most renowned musicians and internationally recognised as a master of the morin khuur (horse-head fiddle) and khöömii (Mongolian throat singing).
For this special evening in the garden, he presents an intimate acoustic performance as part of his first European solo tour. Without amplification and close to the audience, his voice and instruments reveal their full depth and resonance.
In the garden, listeners are invited into a rare and personal musical encounter — Mongolian throat singing, traditional praise songs, beautiful melodies and the expressive sound of the morin khuur brought to life under the open sky.
This is more than a concert; it is a shared experience: a quiet journey into the vast landscapes and living traditions of the Mongolian steppe!
