Join three musicians from Balochistan (Pakistan) for a unique introduction to Nar Sur, a rare tradition of throat singing, poetry, and music, presented in Europe for the very first time.

During this interactive workshop, you'll meet the musicians behind the tradition, hear stories and live performances, and gain insight into the cultural world of Nar Sur. Participants will learn the basics of playing the Algoza (double flute), discover the role of the Tambura within the tradition, and explore the foundations of Nar Sur throat singing. No prior musical experience is required. A limited number of traditional instruments, including Algozas and Tamburas brought directly from Balochistan, will be available for purchase after the workshop.

The workshop includes coffee, tea, fruit, and light refreshments.
